Our Story
Hello, welcome! I'm Felicity, founder and illustrator here at Felicity Designs. We specialise in creating vibrant, beautiful, premium greetings cards and paper goods from our home studio in the small market town of Frodsham, Cheshire. Founded by myself and Dave (my fiancé) in 2020.
I consider myself very fortunate to have grown up in a creative family where we always enjoyed visiting stunning houses and gardens across the UK. My summer holidays abroad often involved painting with my grandma. She was the first person to gift me my own watercolour paint set, and sending greeting cards and letters has always been a family tradition.
After studying floristry as a teenager at college and working as a florist for many years, I then pursued a course in Print and Pattern Design at Winchester School of Art.
I combine my love of flowers, gardens, wildlife, and lettering, which has led us to where we are today.
We have created this website so you can shop colourful and beautiful greetings cards and gifts for yourself, friends, and loved ones. We love being able to connect people through the joy of sending cards.
Our Process
Each design begins on paper and is lovingly hand-illustrated and hand-lettered using watercolour, ink, and small touches of gouache.
As a paper-based business, it is important to us that we use quality and sustainable materials, including working with other UK businesses and having all our paper products designed, printed, and packed in the UK. We also grow some of our own flowers to use in promotional photos.
